Alpha Level

Alpha Level:

The three grades within the Alpha level on the Connection Triangle are A+, A and A-. These members of the group are the core members; contributing the most and responsible for keeping the group productive. Like a nucleolus to a cell, Alpha members are the control center of the group. Since the core makes the choices in the group they are self-sufficient; meaning Alpha members are (but less) productive alone. Generally, Alpha level members are often high ranking Beta level connections with similar type of groups. All leaders are Alphas but all Alphas aren’t leaders. Alphas are the leaders in a social group of people, however the leadership doesn’t translate into daily life. Many people have an A+ connection in a group because they provide safety to others. Loud, recognizable and funny Alpha members often provide safety to everyone in the group for their own various reasons.

Various Examples (Continuos)

EXAMPLE: Harold, Jason, Sarah and Jake (aka The Four) are the core members of “Group X”. “Group X” includes the entire drama crew at their local high school, with The Four as the core. They all contribute their own significant productive value to the group. The core of “Group X” is self-sufficient because Harold, Jason, Sarah and Jake all contribute in being a productive group without any other outside connections.

Introduction (Draft)

A relationship is a conscious acknowledgement of a connection between any two people. Examples of a relationship include anything from high school friends, to a cordial doctor and patient relationship. A group is a socially acknowledged collection of people, subconsciously organized to fulfill the body’s natural need for social and public acceptance of others. Technically we join a group of friends for our own selfish reasons Groups must consist of at least three people and technically could include an infinite number of members. Very large groups almost always disintegrate over time if small groups don’t break off and divide before diminishing. Connection levels to different groups are direct factors to each other, often causing an unproductive connection. A productive connection is the equal contribution and continuous increase of common interests in a relationship or group. Productivity levels could fluctuate daily depending on a person’s sense of humor, hobbies, trustworthiness, etc. Connection levels directly correspond to the production level of an individual or group. If two members have equal productivity in the group then they are of equal levels, so there can be an infinite amount of people in each level per group. Any person could have an unlimited amount of relationship and groups at any single time in their life.
